Does My Butt Look Big In The Saddle

WELCOME, we are glad you found our site.
This is a site for overweight equestriennes, equestrian or equestrians who want to lose weight and get back on that horse. Remember when you were thinner and could swing up unto that bareback horse? Remember when all the cowboys/cowgirls looked your way while you were out on your horse? Do you have KOOOOOL riding clothes that no longer fit you? Wanna get "it" back? This site is to encourage us not only to loose weight and watch calories but to get out there and ride/train and do horse chores rather then staying indoors eating.
Any and all discipline welcome. Show horses, trail riders, dressage, jumpers, vaulting, hunt seat and hunters, team penners, ropers, barrel racers, Rodeo Lovers and participators, packers or those that pack, those that are farriers, shoers, trimmers, trainers or do training. Does not matter if you ride English or Western, if your butt looks fat in that saddle, this site is for you.

If you have been wanting to ride a horse, or start riding again, but are have become too large to do so, or to ride as well as you used to this is your site!
Some folks will tell you it is ok to ride a horse while you are fat/obese. Oh come on, let's be honest?????? You don't even want to carry that extra weight yourself! Why would you ask your horse to???? How much weight can a horse carry? Well, it depends on the horse, what the weight is, and why you want it to carry so much. An overweight rider does not have the balance that they once did before putting on all the weight. So the horse is carrying more of "dead weight".
If you are going to ride heavy ride a larger, stouter horse, not a fat horse, a well built horse.
We will be adding recipe pages, exercise ideas, weight loose tips, live equine as well as Breyer Horse craft ideas, where to buy larger sized riding and tack items, product testing pages and more, much more.
